Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in the Consumer Goods industry located in Bridgewater, New Jersey. This role focuses on providing high-quality customer service, The ideal candidate will have previous experience in customer service, preferably in a consumer-based industry.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to consumers

• Utilize customer service software and other computer programs to manage and track customer interactions

• Handle sensitive situations with care and patience, especially when dealing with challenging customers

• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and data entry

• Utilize professional communication skills to handle inquiries and resolve concerns

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality service

• Use problem-solving skills to address customer issues effectively

• Uphold the company's standards for customer service excellence

• Assist in other customer service-related tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Applicant must have a minimum of one year of experience in a Customer Service Representative role and/or call center

• Proficiency in using customer service software and various computer programs is essential.

• Solid experience in delivering exceptional customer service is required.

• Experience in data entry and managing customer information databases is necessary.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are vital for interacting with customers, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their satisfaction.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals.

• Excellent problem-solving skills to effectively handle customer issues and complaints.

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; further education in a related field is a plus.

• Willingness to participate in additional training or professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
