Controls Engineer Direct Hire - On Site
Description Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining equipment standards within our industries. Responsibilities include:
- Design control systems for complex automated systems "from the ground up," including developing panel layouts, power distribution and controls wiring diagrams, PLC programs, and HMI programs.
- You will work closely and be very familiar with Allen Bradley and ControlLogix PLC's & FactoryTalk View and other platforms.
- A background in both manufacturing and process controls and a strong understanding of instrumentation, analog signaling, and basic electronics would be beneficial.
- Will work closely with Project Engineers to develop and implement error-proofing systems.
- Will work closely with maintenance technicians to troubleshoot and diagnose daily production issues.
- Knowledge and understanding of variable frequency drives, motor controls and switchgear would be beneficial.
- Ability to be customer facing and good presentation skills and product/systems knowldege is a MUST
