Aerotek A&P Mechanic in Bridgeton, Missouri

Job Description

Seeking a skilled A&P Mechanic to perform heavy maintenance (C and D checks) and interior modifications on CRJ 700 & 900 aircraft. The role involves expanding first and business class by reducing economy seats from 70 to 50 in CRJ 700. All heavy maintenance tasks are managed in-house, ensuring consistent, long-term work without subcontracting to third-party MROs. The mechanic will also perform necessary modifications to aircraft while in the hangar for heavy checks.

Hard Skills

  • A&P Certification

  • Experience with turbine or engine troubleshooting

  • Ability to perform blade swaps, component changes, and work on fuel controls

  • Experience performing heavy maintenance (C&D checks) on ERJ and CRJ aircraft

  • Experience with modifications on CRJ 700 & 900

  • Part 121 experience and/or MRO experience, or strong assembly experience

Work Environment

Work will be conducted in a non-climate controlled hangar or line maintenance as needed. Mechanics are expected to work any day/shift. Overtime is voluntary and unlimited, considering safety and quality standards. Schedules include 4x10s or 3x12s shifts. All blueprints and drawings are provided on a tablet, and mechanics should be proficient in using digital devices for this purpose.
