Job Title: A&P Mechanic

Job Description

Perform inspections, scheduled heavy maintenance, and modifications at the West Virginia Air Center. Work in a PART 145 / MRO facility in a fast-paced, project-based environment. The aircrafts worked on are CRJs (regional jets).

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and scheduled heavy maintenance.

• Conduct modifications at the West Virginia Air Center.

• Work on CRJ aircrafts in a PART 145 / MRO facility.

• Operate in a fast-paced, project-based environment.

• Complete work orders within specific timeframes.

• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and standards.

Essential Skills

• 4+ years of C&D check experience.

• Must provide own tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently under time constraints.

• Good communication skills.

The role offers a swing shift schedule, allowing for a full work week and long weekends, providing flexibility for travel or extra overtime. There are ample opportunities for overtime.

Work Environment

The facility operates 24/7 with shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM and 7 PM to 7 AM.

The dress code is casual (T-shirts, shorts/jeans) with steel-toed shoes. Standard PPE, such as safety glasses/goggles, is required at all times, with additional PPE required for specific tasks. Safety is paramount, and all necessary safety training is provided during the initial orientation.

This is a Contract position based out of Bridgeport, West Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $38.00
