Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY POLICE OFFICER (Assistant Operations Officer) in the Provost Marshal Office/Marine Corps Police Department of MARINE CORPS AIR GROUND COMBAT CTR. Responsibilities You will assist in directing and providing technical, operational and administrative supervision as well as making major decision and taking actions that have a direct and substantial effect on PMO or MCPD communities. You will assist in planning, managing, directing and evaluating law enforcement and security operations; initiate, establish and plan mission priorities. You will plan and implement current and long-range operations based on workload trends and projected requirements; develop and implement Force Protection Condition (FPCON) plans, procedures, processes and measures. You will direct the day-to-day technical and administrative work of a group of police officers and support staff (e.g., military, civilian). You will assist in the managing of required training, sustainment training and training on new policies and laws; perform periodic and special statistical, financial and productivity analysis and evaluations on short and long range requirements. You will direct personnel during a catastrophic event following Federal emergency response plans to control the situation. You will respond to problems or questions involving the implementation of law enforcement and security guidelines. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-10) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: serving as the Assistant Operations Officer you will be responsible for the planning, managing, evaluating, and initiating the law enforcement and security operations and mission priorities for a variety of law enforcement areas (e.g. traffic, desk, patrol, military and civilian working dog, Special Reaction Team (SRT), and investigations); prepare reports for criminal and civil security hazards; testifies in court (e.g. civilian and military); commands critical incidents; and manages the initial and sustainment training.
