Robert Half Sr. Financial Analyst in Brentwood, Tennessee

Description

Our exciting client is looking for a short term contract Sr. Financial Analyst to work a hybrid schedule in Brentwood, Tennessee. The role involves leading cross-functional teams, managing financial reporting systems, and performing ad-hoc financial analyses.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the organization of data for monthly variance and additional analyses

• Leading projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams

• Ensuring the alignment of reporting groups through the maintenance of a reporting calendar

• Managing and improving reporting systems and processes

• Preparing and consolidating information for monthly and quarterly Board of Director presentations

• Communicating complex financial data in both formal and informal settings, utilizing various media

• Conducting competitor analysis, including scrutiny of industry trends and peer data

• Expanding and maintaining financial models as a vital part of the annual budget process

• Actively participating in the planning and administration of the annual budget process, including detailed analysis and review of divisional budget submissions

• Providing ad hoc financial analyses and preparing presentations for senior management

• Participating in various corporate wide special projects and initiatives as needed.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 6 years of experience in a similar role

• Proficient in Data Mining Techniques

• Comprehensive understanding of Budget Processes

• Skilled in Variance Analysis

• Experience in creating Complex Financial Models

• Ability to Develop Financial Models from scratch

• Expertise in Financial Planning

• Capable of performing Ad Hoc Analysis

• Proficiency in using Power BI and VENA software would be helpful

• Exposure to IFRS is helpful
