We are hiring immediately for full-time overnight/morning shift Cut Case Selector positions:

Job Description

  • Full-time
  • Starting Pay: $16/Hr + $1 differential from 3am-6am.
  • Shift Days: Monday-Friday
  • Shift Time: 3:00am-11:00am

Responsibilities:

The Cut Case associate is responsible for receiving merchandise and materials from outside vendors. Responsible for handling, unpacking or uncrating merchandise or materials for routing to, or storage in, the proper department. Responsible for documenting damaged goods and/or shortages/overages.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Maintain records of incoming goods, check bills of lading or purchase orders on incoming shipments. Endorse and verify shipment accuracy against purchase orders, make appropriate adjustments if necessary (i.e., over/short, damaged product, change in size), and notify department manager of discrepancies.
  • Inspect product for quality, freshness, damage, proper size, expiration code date or "sell by" dates.
  • Unload trucks and break down pallets that do not immediately fit in allotted reserve storage spots.
  • Select orders for special store orders (i.e. add-ons), and stock product as needed.
  • Pull product returned from stores off trailers and stage for check-in process.
  • Charge or change (cable or electric hoist) batteries for pallet jacks and industrial trucks.
  • Rotate product properly, by confirming expiration dates.
  • Open master cases for repack selecting.
  • Load trucks for delivery of product to the main warehouse dock.
  • Other duties and special projects as requested.
  • Must maintain good attendance and safe work practices.
  • Maintain safeguards of confidential company information.

      Qualifications:

  • Ability to communicate well with internal customers and management. Ability to follow safe working practices, as instructed. Ability to efficiently work independent of direct supervision.

The Representative is frequently required to stand and walk. Must be able to travel up to 100% of the time. While performing the duties of this position, the Representative is subject to both a typical office / store environment and all outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environments is low to high. Follow and abide by all KeHE Safety work rules and policies and procedures. Including but not limited to working safely, being aware of your surroundings and reporting any unsafe or potentially unsafe working conditions.
