Description We are looking to hire a Staff Accountant to join our team in Brea, California. The Staff Accountant will be a vital part of our financial department and will be responsible for managing various aspects of our accounts payable and receivable, account reconciliation, and assisting in monthly closings.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including accounts payable/receivable and general ledger

• Perform regular, detailed audits to ensure accuracy in financial documents, expenditures, and investments

• Aid in the preparation of financial reports such as balance sheets and bank reconciliations

• Assist in the month-end closing process

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems

• Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner

• Assist in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings

• Conduct month-end and year-end close processes

• Develop periodic reports for management

• Provide assistance and support to company personnel

• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in financial reports and statements. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management.

• Experience with Account Reconciliation and Balance Sheet Reconciliation.

• Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations.

• Ability to handle Month End Close procedures.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Knowledge of accounting software and systems.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in work.

• Understanding of accounting principles and regulations.

• Willingness to continuously improve and learn new skills.
