Job Title: Shift Shipping Clerk

Job Description

A distribution company that manufactures automotive parts is seeking a long-term shipping clerk/warehouse worker for the PM shift. This role involves receiving and restocking inventory, loading and unloading materials, and using various tools and equipment to fulfill orders.

Responsibilities

• Receive and restock inventory, dispatch, and manage overstock

• Load and unload materials from trucks

• Break down boxes and package items for shipment

• Use rolling stairs, pickers, and RF scanners to fulfill orders

• Assist Warehouse Supervisors as needed

• Package items for shipment

• Pick orders utilizing stairs to reach material for the automotive industry (rolling stairs may range from 7-15 steps long)

Essential Skills

• Picking

• RF scanner operation

• Packing and packaging

• Pallet jack operation

• Unloading and loading

• Order picking

• Inventory management

• Shipping and receiving

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds

• Comfortable utilizing rolling safety ladders (5-7 steps, occasionally 15 steps)

• Ability to speak, read, and write English

• Must be able to stand, walk, sit, push, pull, and reach with hands and arms

• Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or squat

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and individually (self-motivated)

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brea, California.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00
