The Opportunity

As a ERP/SAP SCM Logistics consultant-Senior (SAP MM & LE) you will work on global transformational projects, local deployment projects or change requests primarily in area of SAP Logistics, Inventory management, transportation and external manufacturing. You will be supporting the development and definition of the strategy for the product line capabilities by proactively identifying changes in business and the technology landscape, that would impact the ERP portfolio and developments through the lifecycle (SAP ECC, SAP S/4 HANA, SAP eWM).

Responsibilities

  • Ensure integrated design, build and deployment and operations of responsible product line. Ensure that dependencies are understood, managed and communicated.

  • Ensure business continuity through operational and service excellence of responsible product lines.Work with internal teams and customer service to identify, classify, and prioritize feature-level customer issues.

  • Partner with leaders within the business and countries, possess strong knowledge of both business and technology, to drive SAP planning solutions to harmonization, optimization and operational excellence of the ERP Services.

  • Work on global transformational projects, local deployment projects or changerequestsprimarily in area of SAP Logistics, inventory management andTransportation.

  • A solid business understanding of supply chain logistics and inventory management processes, combined with hands-on SAP configurationexperience. Candidate shouldunderstandintegration points and dependenciesbetween the SAP SCM components and other SAP ECC (mainly SD, FI and PP), S/4 HANA, SAP GTS, SAP eWMsystems).

  • Participate in the design of roadmapsfor product line, ensuringintegrationinto the overall product management roadmap and release plans (SAP ECC, SAP S/4 HANA, SAP eWM) and raisinganyissuesrelated to the criticalpath of the product to the Product Owner, SCM SAP managers and ERP Platform counterparts.

  • Participate in thedefinition of user requirements, user stories, functional/technical specifications and the update/review of Design Papers and process flows. Work closely with the key business and IT stakeholders and third-party providers to deliver new application solutions and enhancements to existingapplications.

  • Act as the ‘go to’ SCM Logisticsspecialist for stakeholders and liaison/driver for business community. Possess strong knowledge of both business and technology regardingSAP SCM Logistics solutions and developments.

  • Lead resolution of complexproblems with a global impact on the business and identifyopportunities to streamline business and/or layered system processes and ensuredelivered work meets technical, functional, performance and business requirementsaswellas best practices.

  • Activelyengage with the release and engagement teams, major programsensuringactive adoption and deployment of product line capabilities. Support active engagements and continuousimprovementasrequired.

  • Ensurealignment with Business ProcessOwners and IT Business Partners to drive engagement, process design, prioritization and deployment support across the respectiveareas.

  • Train junior consultants and actively hand over knowledge to other team member

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain or equivalent.

  • Minimum 6-8 years of SAP functional, configurationexperiencein SAP ECC MM/LE, ideallygood awareness of WM/eWMaswell, integrationthroughinterfacesusing EDI / SOAP.

  • Practicalexperience with 2+ full lifecycle SAP implementation projects for global clients

  • Working experience from major consulting companies focusing on implementation of SAP ECC, SAP S/4 HANA

  • Experience with role of Leadingconsultantthatshouldensure design, delivery and implementation of complex Supply chain – Logistics solutions with focus on Inter-company, Inventory management and Distribution & Logistics.

  • Experience with implementing major third-party systems (3PL & 4PL warehouses, Transportation management systems).

  • Experience with data migration tools and data migration strategy on following objects: Purchaseorders, Materials, Vendors, Customers, PIR, Routes, Transfer prices ...

  • Ability to lead the team thatwouldconsist of medior or junior consultants, ensuretheirproper engagement, utilization and knowledge growthduring the project run.

  • Ability to communicateideas and data bothverbally and writtenin a persuasive and appropriate manner.

  • Work with stakeholders and project team to prioritizerequirements, cost estimation/economics,develop workflow processes and manage business relationshipsaltogether with ability to communicateideas and data bothverbally and writtenin a persuasive and appropriate manner.

  • Experience with SDLC methodology, includingtasks like developtest cases, execute test plans, log defects, developfunctional design specificationsincluding workflow, validation, and logicrequirements. Ensure designs can be traced back to requirements

  • In special cases, willingness to travel (usually 1-2 weeks duringFit & Gap design phase or UAT testing/Training phase) or work in different time zone, duringmentionedphases.

Salary

As a motivated employee, you should be compensated appropriately. The minimum salary for this position is €3850 per month (full time), but your final remuneration package may be higher depending on your qualifications and experience.
