Cabela's Restaurant General Manager in Branson, Missouri

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Restaurant General Manager is a fully functioning expert in all processes and positions, they will lead the overall operations of your restaurant and serve as the face of Bass Pro Shops in the community.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Supports Bass Pro Shops commitment to delivering world class customer service and to ensuring a pleasant, safe and productive dining experience for all guests.

  • Conducts regular table visits, resolves customers complaints in a timely manner.

  • Prepares annual budget and business plan in partnership, sets financial goals and plans expenses, monitors actual sales revenues on a continuous basis to determine variances; assess goal accomplishment and reacts appropriately.

  • Maintains a fully staffed restaurant, develops and promotes Outfitters, holds the team accountable to standards.

  • Enforces safety and sanitation procedures.

  • Exercises good judgement and makes the right decisions; being a role model within the restaurant.

  • Ensures compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws and ordinances.

  • Remains willing and able to learn new tasks, systems and technologies

  • ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certificate(s) or License(s): ServSafe

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of General Manager or above experience; full casual dining or casual plus

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY

  • Familiarity with POS Systems

  • Restaurant Front and Back of House

  • Inventory Management

  • Forecasting

  • Detail Oriented

  • Leader: Inspires teammates to follow

  • Inspired to perform well by the completion of tasks

  • Strong Communication Skills

  • Commitment to accuracy, compliance and timeliness

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • N/A

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Regular computer work, sitting, walking, standing, lifting, etc.

INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT :

  • Develops objectives and general policies and procedures for a specific program or functional area of responsibility within general scope of established operational goals and plans. Day-to-day work and decisions do not require direction or review by immediate supervisor. End results are reviewed by supervisor.
