Insight Global is seeking an Automation and Controls Engineer to join a client local to Brandenburg, KY. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience within a Controls/Automation Engineering role with experience coding PLCs. This individual will ensure the success of the team by safely performing programming and upgrade tasks on mill equipment and systems, as well as proposing and implementing innovative solutions to challenges in the industrial manufacturing process and business. Candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. This is a permanent direct hire opportunity targeting a salary of $90,000 annually

Skills and Requirements

• Control Theory Knowledge

   - 2+ Years of Experience in Industrial Controls role or similar

• PLC coding experience, preferably within Siemens PLCs - Industrial Process Automation Networking Experience

     Ethernet IP, Profinet, Profibus, etc.)

   - Experience with Siemens S7 controllers and programming packages

2 or 4 year degree in industrial controls or related field null
