As the Senior Manager of Cloud DevOps, you will lead a team responsible for designing, implementing, and managing automation solutions for our public cloud environments. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive cloud automation strategies, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure seamless integration with development and operations processes.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of cloud automation engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
Develop and execute a comprehensive cloud automation strategy aligned with business objectives.
Design and implement automation frameworks and tools for cloud provisioning, configuration management, and deployment.
Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of automated cloud environments.
Collaborate with development, engineering, operations, and security teams to integrate automation solutions into CI/CD pipelines.
Drive the adoption of best practices in cloud automation, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps methodologies.
Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and trends, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
Manage vendor relationships and evaluate third-party automation tools and services.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
8+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on automation and infrastructure management.
Strong experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).
Expertise in automation tools and frameworks such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
Proven track record of leading and managing technical teams.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
