JOB SUMMARY

The Production Inventory Analyst will serve as the subject matter expert for inventory control and monitoring and material usage variance analysis processes encompassing JDE financial systems, the Prodac production reporting platform and the Palletizer PSS system.

WHEN YOU JOIN US, YOU WILL:

  • Lead the investigation of the sources of raw materials variances in the plant environment with the Production team, the Board Specialist, the Quality Manager and the Shipping supervisor

  • Oversee the execution of the daily inventory transactions and adjustments and perform the production and inventory reconciliations and the material usage variance and waste analysis.

  • Own for the inventory control processes, perform and maintain the value stream mapping for the inventory control and production reporting processes and document the processes and work instructions

  • Daily communication with all aspects of supply chain; customer service, production, inventory control, purchasing, quality and shipping

  • Coordinate and/or conduct daily raw materials & finished goods cycle counts in the plant environment

  • Serve as the process owner for Raw Material and Finished Goods inventory count processes for IG Brampton and execute monthly raw materials and finished goods inventory counts and audit count process execution in the plant for each count

  • Report on over-aged inventory and schedule disposition as appropriate

  • Coordinate month-end financial reporting

  • Interface with Corporate resources to be the process owner and lead the implementation, refinement and maintenance of MRP processes and data integrity in the plant environment for IG Brampton

  • Other duties as assigned

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • 5+ years of hands-on related experience in a large, complex manufacturing plant

  • 2-year College Diploma

  • Proficient MS Excel skill

  • Intermediate level of ERP, preferably JDE

  • Excellent communication skills and strong teamwork orientation

  • Tactful customer service skills
