Job Description
We are currently seeking a Process Specialist to join our Process Engineering team in our Corporate Engineering department location in Brampton, ON. In this position, you will work in a multidiscipline engineering team to execute capital expenditure and plant maintenance projects of varying sizes.

WHEN YOU JOIN US YOU WILL BE:
Development of project deliverables. These include, but are not limited to: Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Equipment sizing, Equipment/Piping lists, Theory of Operation
Facilitating Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) studies
Visiting site to collect data.
Collaborating with operators and plant engineers to obtain key information about running facilities to help diagnose problems and find solutions to improve operational efficiency
Supporting IKO’s core values and leadership behaviours
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Bachelors degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
5+ years of experience working in a similar role
Ability to work effectively within a team environment
5S knowledge and implementation preferred
CCPS Process Safety Professional is preferred
Experience with development of process documentation to be used for project execution and troubleshooting existing equipment
Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Power Point
Ability to develop schematics in Autocad is a plus
P.Eng. in Ontario is preferred
