Job Title: Electronic Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronic Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, and testing electronic controls and assemblies according to mechanical and electrical drawings. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our electronic products by acting as an inspector and troubleshooting any issues that arise.

Responsibilities

• Assemble junction boxes, electronic controls, and other assemblies per mechanical and electrical drawings.

• Install and test completed electronic assemblies.

• Act as an inspector for final electronics checkout.

• Interact with manufacturing to ensure proper installation and test of completed electronic assemblies.

• Participate in wiring diagram / interconnect drawing reviews.

• Troubleshoot electronic assemblies for production and aftermarket support.

• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

• Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.

• Contribute to team effort by training others in the performance of moderately complex electronics assembly tasks as needed.

• Inspect all work prior to passing it on to the next operation.

• Document actions by completing production and quality forms.

Essential Skills

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Proficiency with small hand tools, power tools, hand tools, drills, and screwdrivers.

• Minimum of 2 years of electronic assembly experience and wiring

• Electrical schooling.

• Capability to lift and handle up to 50+ lbs.

Work Environment

You will be working in a medium-sized manufacturing company with 6 assembly workstations, 8 welding cells, a paint booth, and an EPOXY mold department with over 10 machines. Our facility spans over 200,000 square feet, providing a very clean and brightly lit working environment. The role involves working the day shift from 7am to 3:30pm.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00
