A client I am working with is currently looking for a Warehouse Supervisor for their facility in Brampton, ON

Job Must Haves

• 3+ years of warehouse supervisor experience

• Experience with shipping and receiving

• Comfortable supervising 10+ people

Job Duties

• Supervises and reviews the daily organization and operations of the warehouse

• Ensuring that the warehouse is fully capable and functional in its layout and capacity to adequately support the material needs for Production, Service, Customer orders, Stock Transfers, and others

• Supervises stocking of parts to support production, service and customer orders, timely delivery of parts to the shop, oversees preparation for shipments of items as required, and preparation of materials for disposal as required

• Provide continual evaluation of processes/procedures and suggesting methods to improve area operations, efficiency, and customer service

• Ensures that materials in the warehouse are counted, inspected, stored properly, and cared for through general material handling and warehousing principles

• Supervises the packaging of parts for interplant stock transfer, completion of required documentation to support shipping of materials, packaging and shipping of complete unit, or spare parts to customer

• Arranges schedules regular training and retraining of warehouse personnel

• Assessing the performance of employees on an ongoing basis and providing feedback to employees accordingly

• Responsible for ensuring safe work practices are followed in Warehouse and Shipping areas

Shifts

• Monday to Friday

• 8:00am - 4:30pm
