Position: Skilled Laborer and/or Job Foreman in Marine Construction
Location: Bradenton and Palmetto, FL
Responsibilities:
- Execute various marine construction tasks such as dock building, seawall installation, dredging, and other related projects.
- Operate heavy machinery and tools in a safe and efficient manner.
- Lead and manage a small crew of laborers, ensuring productivity and adherence to project timelines.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate execution of projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards and regulations at all times.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and clients.
Requirements and Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Marine Construction preferred, but not required.
- Boating experience preferred.
- Proficiency in operating construction machinery and tools relevant to marine projects.
- Leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a small team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and a proactive work ethic.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to marine construction activities.
