Job Title: HVAC Service Technician
Job Description
The HVAC Service Technician will be responsible for programming building controls, integration, system start-up, service, and commissioning of HVAC systems. This role involves installing HVAC actuators, controls, VAV boxes, and replacing valves. The ideal candidate must have 3-5 years of HVAC/R/controls/service experience and experience working on new construction or retrofit projects.
Responsibilities
Program building controls.
Integrate and start up HVAC systems.
Service and commission HVAC systems.
Install HVAC actuators, controls, and VAV boxes.
Replace valves as needed.
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems.
Essential Skills
3-5 years of HVAC/R/controls/service experience.
Experience with new construction or retrofit projects.
Proficiency in HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and service HVAC systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with building automation systems by manufacturers such as Automated Logic, Delta, Reliable, Computrol, JCI, Siemens, Trane, or Tridium.
Tridium AX or N4 certification is a plus.

Work Environment/Location
The work environment includes new construction and retrofit projects, particularly in schools in Bradenton/Sarasota area. The position operates on the first shift from 6 AM to 3 PM, with opportunities for overtime. Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, steel-toe boots, safety glasses, gloves, and high visibility vests must be worn at all times.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00
