Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Manages the orders and delivery of materials to meet project requirements.
Familiar with construction supplies and various types of equipment needed to support the Electrical Utility Industry
Communicates and maintains accurate records regarding all aspects of position.
Duties will include but are not limited to compiling information from bid documents, requesting quotes from vendors and subcontractors to support our estimating team.
Review operating practices and procedures and recommend improvements to facilitate a more efficient and effective workflow process to provide support to the team
Works closely with field personnel to obtain and coordinate job materials to ensure timely delivery for scheduled work.
Assignments, projects, and daily work will be carried out in accordance with the instructions that are established through office practices, procedures, and precedents.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Ability to understand technical specifications of material and equipment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Excellent communication and negotiation skills with field, vendors, and outside customers.
Able to pay close attention to details and identify/correct mistakes.
Manages time effectively, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Education & Experience
Prior experience in the electrical power line construction industry.
Ability to provide proof of work experience, schooling, and other certifications obtained during career.
Pre-Screen
- Upon offer, employees may be required to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, background, and/or MVR check.
License & Certifications:
- Driver License Required, willingness to obtain a valid CDL within 90 days of employment preferred.
Travel Requirements:
- Willing to travel out of state for emergency storm work.

Safety
Due to the inherently dangerous nature of the industry and requirements to work with or around hazardous equipment, employees must have sufficient eyesight to judge distance/coordination of equipment and tools, be able to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods, be able to withstand exposure to all kinds of weather while completing work assignments, be able to wear personal protective equipment as necessary, be able to enter and exit a vehicle numerous times a day, have the endurance necessary to traverse various terrain, be capable of performing job duties throughout a standard 8- or 10-hour day, be able to communicate with others, read, write, and comprehend written/verbal job instructions and information, and communicate and handle conflict professionally.

Works near/around energized, hazardous parts and equipment.

May exposed to hot and cold environments, poisonous plants or reptiles, and stinging insects.
