GENERAL PURPOSE

This position is responsible for delivering and picking up customer linen in a timely and professional manner within assigned routes utilizing delivery vehicles like trailers, box trucks, and/or cargo vans.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operates a delivery vehicle (trailer box trucks, cargo van) assigned by the company to the driver with an established or alternate route as scheduled.
• Delivering carts (metros) in the most time-efficient manner and collecting signed delivery tickets.
• Validates the content of delivery by performing a reconciliation of carts (metros) to be delivered to customer and from customer.
• Performs pre and post-delivery vehicle (trailer box trucks, cargo van) inspections daily.
• Maintains the condition of the delivery vehicle (trailer box trucks, cargo van) clean and disinfected, based on company protocol and guidelines.
• When ending the shift, the delivery vehicle (trailer box trucks, cargo van) must have a full gas tank.
• Provides reports about any maintenance issues related to the delivery vehicle (trailer box trucks, cargo van) (box or trailer) or any other concerns.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.
• Adheres to all traffic rules and DOT regulations.
• Must be punctual and stringent about timings and make no delays in deliveries.
• Must be prepared to work in any traffic pattern, severe weather, and strict deadlines according to our business needs.
• Must always be in full uniform provided by the company.
• Will always provide professional and courteous service to our customers and their staff.
• Will communicate with Logistic Manager any customer or route concerns.
• Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.

Must have a valid drivers license Class A.

Must have a valid medical card.

Must have 2 or more years related experience.

Must have clean driving record.

Must be able to pass a drug and background test.

Must have excellent customer service skills.

Must be able to work independently, be responsible for route, and work unsupervised 90% of the time.
