Thames Valley Council for Community Action Commissary Driver in Bozrah, Connecticut
JOB SUMMARY :
Work with administrative and commissary staff to ensure accurate delivery of food
and supplies to assigned service area. Load trucks. Perform daily safety check of vehicles.
Keep accurate logs of mileage and maintenance. Ensure deliveries are complete and timely.
Be responsible for cleanliness and routine maintenance of trucks.
Required Skills
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Possess current Connecticut driver’s license
Excellent driving record and able to drive truck or large vehicle
Be able to drive standard transmission
Knowledge of basic automobile maintenance
One year experience in delivery driving
This position is 25 hours per week, 5 hours per day. Monday through Friday 7AM - 12PM. Location is 81 Stockhouse Road Bozrah, CT. Individual will operate a 1 1/2 ton truck. CDL is not required. Individual will transport food to the NE part of Connecticut utilizing company truck.
