Job Title: Site-Civil Project Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site-Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves the design and execution of various engineering projects related to site development, including layout, grading, earthwork, stormwater management, and erosion/sediment control. The ideal candidate will have a strong Experience in civil engineering, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Design all aspects of engineering projects including layout, grading, earthwork, storm drain, septic, sanitary sewer, water, stormwater management, and erosion/sediment control.

  • Perform field investigations to determine existing conditions.

  • Prepare design submission packages for agency reviews and approvals.

  • Participate in permitting processes and the completion of as-constructed/as-built drawings.

  • Interpret and apply all applicable federal, state, and local codes.

  • Draft technical specifications.

  • Occasionally travel to project/client sites to complete tasks or attend meetings.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant design experience in the site-civil engineering field working with AutoCAD & Civil 3D.

  • Experience designing land development projects.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

  • EIT Certification or the ability to obtain an EIT Certification within the next 6 months is preferred.

  • BSCE from an ABET accredited engineering program.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, project managers, supervisors, and other team members.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with site design, site layout, grading, erosion control, sediment control, and drainage.

  • Experience with wastewater, stormwater design, earthworks, storm drainage, sanitary sewer, roadway, municipal engineering, and water & wastewater projects.

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.

  • Experience with Microstation is desirable.

Work Environment

This is an in-office role with a small team of 5-7 people, with plans to expand rapidly. The office is located in a nice corporate area close to plenty of restaurants. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.84 - $40.00
