Description

We are seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test to join our team in Boulder, CO. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring test results, developing automated test scripts, and working closely with fellow SDETs and Developers to ensure adherence to best practices and design patterns. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor automated regression test pipelines and troubleshoot failures on a daily basis.

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts.

• Transition UI tests from Coded-UI to suitable UI automation libraries like Automation Element or Appium.

• Extend the automation framework to support new product functionality on Mac, Windows, and browsers.

• Actively participate in all Scrum ceremonies.

• Work in tandem with SDETs and Developers to ensure automated tests and frameworks adhere to the established design pattern and best practices.

• Gain proficiency in Reporting and Planning products to create effective test scripts and frameworks.

• File and follow up on bugs as required.

Requirements • Proficiency in reporting and planning tasks related to software testing

• Ability to troubleshoot software issues effectively

• Knowledge of best practices in software development and testing

• Familiarity with Windows OS and its related libraries and frameworks

• Experience with Linux operating system

• Proficiency in using Atlassian Jira for project management

• Experience with R Code as a programming language

• Proficient in using Zoom for communication and collaboration

• Understanding of Scrum methodology for agile software development

• Knowledge of user interface (UI) design and development

• Experience with GIT for version control

• Skills in API development for creating robust software products

• Familiarity with Mac computers and their operating system

• Experience in software development with a focus on testing

• Proficiency in bug tracking to ensure software quality

• Experience with PostgreSQL as a database management system

• Knowledge of Selenium for automating web browsers

• Understanding of different design patterns in software development

• Experience with continuous integration (CI) for maintaining code quality

• Ability to work with graphs for data representation

• Proficiency in using PowerShell as a scripting language
