We are looking to hire a Principal Software Engineer to join our team. The Product Portfolio and Incubation team reviews existing healthcare solutions and workflows with a goal to identify functionality and workflows that can be converted into new genAI based services. The services will cover the full life cycle of the medical report from creation, clinical content improvement, coding and quality reviews. The new services will either be integrated into first party end user solutions such as DAX Copilot or extend the Health and Life Sciences third party platform services.

Responsibilities

We are looking for passionate people with experience working with all service aspects of high throughput and multi-tenant services, ability to design components carefully, properly handle errors, write clean and well-factored code with good tests and good maintainability.  

  • Lead the architectural design of new components, services and solutions

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of Architecture Design Experience.

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred/Additional Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in system design, software engineering

  • Master’s in computer science or equivalent experience

  • Solid understanding of the full software lifecycle.

  • Proficient written and spoken communication skills

  • Ability to work in a team

  • Experience with AI Skills development and Copilots

  • Good knowledge of Azure cloud resources, services, deployment methods

  • Good understanding of best practices to design and build secure services.

  • Skills in Algorithm Design and Implementation, Architecture Design, Automation, Collaborative Innovation, and Compliance Oversight.

Software Engineering IC6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $161,600 - $286,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $209,600 - $314,400 per year.
