Hiring Industrial Maintenance Mechanics in Boulder, Colorado

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including motors, conveyors, mechanical parts, and electrical wiring.

• Communicate with kiln operators and quality control to ensure material quality.

• Access and maneuver around mobile and plant equipment to perform adjustments.

• Assist in general plant cleanup, including shoveling and sweeping.

• Utilize small/power tools and electronic test equipment to troubleshoot and resolve issues in plumbing, electrical systems, fixtures, switches, power sources, and mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Preferably 1 year of experience in an aggregate environment (e.g., concrete mixing, sand & gravel).

• 3+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience with conveyors.

• Experience with heavy construction equipment (e.g., skid steers, front-end loaders, excavators) or in a heavy industrial/manufacturing setting is preferred.

Pay Rate: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour (depending on experience) + sign-on bonus**

Shift: 1st shift, 7am - 7pm, 5 days a week (rotating days, not strictly Monday - Friday)

Work Environment:

• Varied outdoor setting in a loud, heavy industrial aggregate environment.

• Exposure to all weather conditions, with potential for loud, dirty, cold winter, and hot summer conditions.
