WHAT WE CAN ACHIEVE TOGETHER The Financial Planning, Reporting & Analysis (FPR&A) team contributes to achieving TNC's 2030 goals through driving key enterprise planning processes, providing timely & value-added analyses and reporting, and serving as respected financial partners enabling strategic decision making and resource allocation. The Associate Director is a subject matter expert in financial planning, reporting and analysis as well as enterprise financial systems and serves as a key resource to the FPR&A, Head of Global FPR&A, the Chief Finance Officer, senior leadership & the entire organization. The Associate Director is specifically responsible for planning and managing the TNC annual budget process, reliable quarterly financial forecasts, multi-year strategic financial planning and financial reporting and synthesizing at the region/division/business unit and enterprise level, connecting TNC's strategy to financial outcomes in these processes. They are also responsible for helping develop key presentations to the executive leadership team and Board of Directors as well as for the broader organization. This position effectively leads, communicates, and trains the broader organization including clear guidelines and software tools to participate in these quarterly, annual, and multi-year processes. They also serve as a key representative for finance in our multi-year ERP deployment. The Associate Director will seek to continuously improve the planning & forecast processes through soliciting feedback to support achieving our goals and enabling better coordination through the organization.
The Associate Director, FPR&A supervises a team of administrative and or professional staff with responsibility for performance management, training, and development. They also serve as a team leader for assigned projects and coordinate the work of others. They collaborate in the development of corrective actions where necessary, has responsibility and accountability for helping the organization meet strategic goals and objectives, and is responsible for supporting and advisin Senior Management as they execute their responsibilities to ensure sound financial operations, appropriate capital management, and quality financial plans and reports.
RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE
ENTERPRISE-FOCUSED ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR ROLE
Provide reports, analysis, and presentations for the Chief Financial & Administrative Officer, Executive team, Trustees, Board, and other groups. Prepare and synthesize forecasts making informed projections and assumptions. Lead projects to help streamline team and related organizational processes with respect to Budgeting, Planning, Forecasting, Modeling and Reporting, and coordinating with Accounting as needed. Coordinate with multiple internal areas as necessary to ensure consistent and helpful budgeting and reporting guidance. Partner with Human Resources on personnel reporting and enterprise workforce planning. Serve as subject matter expert in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and planning. Help design, develop, and implement strategic, integrated, and collaborative approaches to the annual and quarterly forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes for the organization. Serve as the team lead in the implementation and future enhancements to the organization's new worldwide ERP system. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE
Provide trusted, respected strategic support through timely and accurate financial reports, projections, models, and analysis to the CFO, ELT, and key leaders.
