For more information, please visit www.verathon.com. Overview Verathon is looking for a Quality Inspector II to become the newest member of our QA/RA Team located in Bothell, WA. The Quality Inspector is responsible for supporting the Quality and Operations teams by performing receiving inspection and final release of finished products. Responsibilities * Performs daily inspections on incoming materials, including in-process audits. * Application of inspection processes using GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and traceability, as well as implementing testing methods such as destructive/nondestructive and functionality testing. * Inspect mechanical, electrical, and PCBA raw/incoming materials to approved specifications * Inspect outgoing finished device(s) from manufacturing areas to approved specifications * Utilizes Quality Tools to address issues found during the inspection process. * Identifies and utilizes the correct Quality tools to determine root cause and report. * Document final test specification requirements * Conducts First Article Inspections (FAI) as required * Contributes to improvements to the QMS, by providing feedback on inspection processes and supporting documentation. * Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned inspection and support tasks. Using automated measuring instruments/tools. * Assists in failure investigations and their documentation * Perform special projects as assigned by Manager * Provide back up on other QA functions as required * Responsible to follow all company policy and procedures Qualifications * High School Diploma and 1-2 related year experience is required * Ability to read and interpret procedures and technical drawings * Ability to accurately use basic measuring devices * PCBAs inspection experience to IPC-A-610 requirements * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Must be able to write procedures and release in document control system * Able to describe non-conformities and investigation results in written form * Must have a quality mind set * Ability to handle multiple projects and meets deadlines in a timely manner * A self-starter who demonstrates an aptitude for organization * Proven attention to detail * Ability to work in a team environment * Willingness to learn and grow * Follow safety requirements * Familiarity with MS Office software * Familiarity with ISO 13485 and FDA cGMP regulations desirable * Ability to lift 40 pounds Why Join Us?
