Job Title: Lab Technician IIJob Description

The Lab Technician II will work in a highly collaborative environment, providing lab support to Research Associates and Scientists. This role involves independently maintaining the laboratory, including supplies and maintenance of laboratory equipment and analytical instruments. Key responsibilities include maintaining laboratory equipment, coordinating with vendors, organizing lab spaces, and managing inventory and waste disposal.

Hard Skills

• Maintaining laboratory equipment and analytical instruments

• Coordinating maintenance with vendors and Facilities team

• Managing maintenance contracts and submitting through Contract Management System

• Preparing solutions and buffers

• Performing daily equipment calibration

• Cleaning AKTA equipment and managing system storage

• Managing freezers and freezer inventory

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 18 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Bothell, Washington.

Work Environment

The Lab Technician II will primarily interact with the Purification Development laboratory staff (Research Associates and Scientists) in Bothell. There may be limited interactions with other groups sharing the Bothell lab space, such as SPF and Cell Culture groups. This is an individual contributor role with no people management responsibilities.
