Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team at our offices in Bothell, Washington, 98011, United States. The role involves managing our company's financial obligations and maintaining our internal accounting policies. This position offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing, preparing, and processing payments for vendor invoices.

• Examining purchase orders, statements, and invoices to verify amounts owed.

• Addressing and resolving discrepancies as required.

• Overseeing and reconciling the accounts payable ledger.

• Responding to vendor inquiries and resolving any discrepancies in billings and payments.

• Coordinating weekly check run for mailing and filing.

• Ensuring timely disbursement of funds.

• Conducting reconciliation on credit card and checking accounts.

• Maintaining files and accounting documentation.

• Processing requests for employee expense reimbursements.

• Conducting internal audits on various company financial data, including taxes and commissions. Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required

• Knowledge of Account Coding is essential

• Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is preferred

• Demonstrable understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) processes is necessary

• Proficiency in Accrual Accounting is expected

• Prior experience in Auditing is a plus

• Proficiency in using NetSuite software is highly desirable

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work

• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work well within a team and independently

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
