Job Information

Citigroup VP, Sales Content Manager, Securities Services in Boston, Massachusetts

Are you looking for a career move that will put you at the heart of a global financial institution? Then bring your skills in visual communication and sales strategy implementation to build compelling slides that conform to branding and messaging standards.

By Joining Citi, you will become part of a global organisation whose mission is to serve as a trusted partner to our clients by responsibly providing financial services that enable growth and economic progress.

Team/Role Overview:

The content team is the central hub for knowledge management across all external-facing channels at Citi Securities Services. We establish the narrative that’s used to sell and build client relationships and use that narrative to develop all related downstream content. Additionally, we run the database of potential responses to client and prospect questions, as well as an extensive library of related slides. Lastly, we provide internal training on best practices for communication, brand guidance, and risk/control aspects of these processes. Logistically, there is a lot to maintain and create, and many disparate stakeholder groups rely on us.

We are looking for someone to develop and maintain standard slides, who thrives on a challenge, employs drive and ambition to deliver against tough targets. If you can project manage without direct authority over the team, are detailed oriented and have strong visual communication skills, this might be the role for you.

What you’ll do:

No two days are alike. In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to develop compelling slides that comport with existing materials.

  • Expand your network and knowledge of the business by communicating with many global businesses and functions on disparate, competing projects.

  • Collaborate with content team colleagues to define and execute a dynamic strategic agenda.

  • Update legacy materials and align with the new Citi branding standards.

  • Use critical thinking to effectively manage the change control process. Consider how updating one piece of content impacts other areas, ensuring information is cascaded to the appropriate stakeholders.

  • Project manage the inputs of subject matter experts from across the organization (via persuasive management, not direct authority).

  • Keep a positive, can-do attitude while enforcing professional boundaries and time management around what our team can and cannot deliver.

What we’ll need from you:

  • Project management experience with many concurrent projects / timelines / priorities being juggled.

  • Skills in effective escalation.

  • Excellent visual communication.

  • Strong writing/editing.

  • Attention to detail (bordering on obnoxious nit picking).

  • Strong ability in the full Office Suite (email rules/management, project management tools, Word macros, styles menus).

  • Established ability to handle remote collaboration via Zoom and Teams.

What we can offer you:

We are a senior, well connected team looking to help develop talent. We encourage an analytical mindset with the ability to focus on a small aspect of the big picture while understanding how the entire picture may need to shift based on what you’re learning. As you develop, you’ll rapidly move into positions of greater responsibility, visibility, and creativity. This is a great position if you have an interest in learning / deepening your understanding of Securities Services.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
