Your role in our future

Reporting to the Chief People & Transformation Officer, the role of the Vice President of Human Resources – North America (NORAM) is to provide strategic leadership by articulating and driving the execution of Quadient and Human Resources strategic objectives to the Executive Leadership Team and the North America HR team. The VP, Human Resources NORAM will serve as a highly trusted Executive partner within the organization and possess the ability to build strong working relationships across Quadient. This position will play a pivotal role in ensuring Quadient and its employees are aligned to support Quadient in the achievement of its strategic goals.

Key Accountabilities

  • Function as a strategic business partner to the executive leadership team and to their respective business disciplines regarding key organizational, HR and strategic goals.

  • Coach leaders at all levels of the organization, including executive leadership team, while effectively building relationships by establishing trust, credibility and adding value.

  • Lead the NORAM HR team, operating as both a strategic and hands-on operations leader. The right candidate will be a strong executor and developer of people, confident diving into a range of HR topics, including, but not limited to courageous conversations, inclusion and diversity, talent attraction and retention, talent development and succession, workforce planning, organizational development and culture, total rewards and employee relations.

  • Provide advice and guidance to the Leadership Team and employees on interpretations of applicable provincial and state laws, HR policies/best practices, the company’s strategic vision, values and corporate culture.

  • Collaborate closely with the Executive Leadership Team and the Global HR Centres of Excellence including Talent (made up of Talent Acquisition Talent Management and DE&I), Total Reward People Insights & Services, Culture & Engagement, Legal, CSR, M^A and Strategic Operations, ensuring alignment with HR policies and practices and with the company's vision, mission, values and strategic objectives.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive work culture that emphasizes teamwork, diversity, and innovation.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the North America HR Team while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

  • Drive, influence, guide, and support the Quadient cultural and people aspects of organizational change, people processes and business improvement initiatives.

  • Support executives and HR team members on planning and communications related to change management, HR and local community initiatives.

Your profile

  • At least 15 years’ experience as an HR professional in a complex matrix organization including at least 10 years’ experience in a leadership capacity.

  • Proven record of accomplishment collaborating with executive leadership teams and leading regional-wide HR strategic initiatives.

  • Strong knowledge of HR compliance and regulations.

  • Practical knowledge of all functional disciplines of traditional Human Resources Management (Employee Relations, Performance Management, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Diversity and Inclusion, Talent Development and Succession, and Organizational Development).

  • Ability to provide advice to all levels of seniority.

  • Comfortable working as an individual contributor and manager in a fast-paced, dynamic, high-energy environment.

  • Experience building out centralized programs and delivering training to organizations.

  • Team oriented consensus builder who understands how to achieve buy-in from diverse constituencies, building bridges and designing "win-win" solutions across a matrix management organization.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong business acumen and presence.

  • Strong prioritization skills and ability to meet strict deadlines.

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.

This position has a salary range of:

$224,000.00 - $336,000.00

Quadient, Inc. has standard ranges for all U.S. - based roles, based on function, level, and scope, which are benchmarked against companies of similar size and growth-stage. To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share these targets on all job postings . Final salary offers are determined by multiple factors, which may include (but are not limited to) geographic location and candidate experience and expertise. As such, they may vary from the ranges listed.
