We are seeking a Senior Manager of Program Management (PM), to oversee Amazon Robotics Supply Chain (RSC) programs team. RSC organization sources, manufactures, delivers a portfolio of robotics technology globally and supports our network of global fulfillment and transportation solutions. RSC Programs team is comprised of program managers who are the primary interface between all RSC teams and internal customer organizations. The team also focuses on long term RSC technological solutions, and build an automated supply chain capability working closely with IT teams. They also own the RSC business strategy that creates the multiyear strategy for RSC including the 3-Year Plan, Operating Planning docs, and the business review meeting cadence. You work cross functionally to identify and deliver RSC programs. You will work closely with partners in RSC and AR management to understand and deliver the optimal outcomes for Amazon. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supply chain, domain expert to dive deep into the supply chain processes, along with the supply chain technologies required to scale business for the next three to five years.

This role will require strong management skills and interaction/influence with teams across Amazon to drive the improvement of RSC business. The ideal candidate will be curious, have strong attention to detail, be energized by a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, be comfortable thinking big while also diving deep, will have high judgement and comfort managing senior stakeholders. Your goal is to identify and deliver high impact programs for RSC, having tangible impact on RSC goals of on-time, cost, flexibility, scalability.

This person will do strategic planning, financial analysis, resource scoping and governance for a portfolio of programs and projects. This role requires ability to build relationships with internal customers, and senior management to develop and assess external requirements. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with a strong interest in developing high performance teams and contributors on those teams.

Key job responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of programs by evaluating the business and technical landscape, understanding customer needs and value drivers

• Write and coach roadmap and strategy documentation and ensure clear communication and coordination of needs for the business and technology teams

• Hire and Develop a strong performing Program Management organization

• Present to Amazon executives as well as other large audiences

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of managing teams experience

  • 10+ years of program or project management experience

  • MBA

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading financial technology automation and process improvement initiatives with tech and non-tech teams

  • Experience delivering cross functional projects
