About The Team

Oracle Health Data Intelligence (HDI) is at the forefront of transforming healthcare through data-driven innovations. We are seeking experienced leaders to join our USA team to build and implement advanced machine learning, generative AI, and data analytics solutions. Our goal is to improve patient care, optimize healthcare delivery, and drive operational efficiency by leveraging large-scale healthcare data, AI-powered technologies, and domain expertise.

Responsibilities

  1. Team Leadership :

• Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of Machine Learning Scientists, Data Engineers, and Software Developers, focusing on generative AI, LLMs, and AI agent-based solutions.

• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning to drive team performance and deliver business outcomes.

  1. Generative AI and LLM Development :

• Design and deploy large-scale Generative AI and LLM-based models to solve complex healthcare problems, such as summarizing patient records, automating documentation, and improving diagnostic workflows.

• Develop AI agents capable of autonomous data analysis, task execution, and patient interaction to enhance efficiency and outcomes.

  1. Innovation & Solution Development :

• Create AI solutions integrating generative models with multimodal healthcare data sources, such as EHRs, insurance claims, and demographic data, for comprehensive analytics.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement features like intelligent recommendations, clinical decision support, and care pathway optimization.

  1. Program & Project Management :

• Oversee multiple AI/ML projects, ensuring timely delivery, high quality, and alignment with Oracle Health’s strategic goals.

• Manage the entire lifecycle of AI/ML solutions, from research and development to deployment and monitoring.

  1. Strategic Collaboration :

• Engage with healthcare providers, policymakers, and internal product teams to align generative AI initiatives with business objectives, patient needs, and regulatory requirements.

• Promote the adoption of AI-driven insights across Oracle Health’s portfolio, supporting clinical quality analytics and operational benchmarks.

  1. System Performance and Optimization :

• Implement robust pipelines for training and deploying scalable generative AI and LLM models.

• Optimize AI solutions for performance, interpretability, and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

Education :

• Master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field (Ph.D. preferred).

Experience :

• 10+ years of experience in machine learning or AI-focused roles, with at least 5 years in leadership positions.

• Proven track record in deploying generative AI, LLMs, or agent-based solutions in production environments, preferably within healthcare.

Technical Skills :

• Proficiency in building, fine-tuning, and deploying LLMs (e.g., GPT, BERT) and Generative AI models (e.g., transformers, diffusion models).

• Experience with AI agent frameworks and autonomous systems for task automation.

• Strong knowledge of AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, and LangChain.

• Expertise in cloud platforms (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, AWS, Azure, or GCP) and distributed computing.

Leadership & Communication :

• Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams and mentor technical talent.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and healthcare providers.

Domain Knowledge :

• Familiarity with healthcare data systems (e.g., EHRs, PACS, claims data) and their integration with AI models.

• Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, FHIR).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in implementing AI agents for clinical or operational workflows.

• Knowledge of MLOps, LLMOps, and scalable deployment pipelines.

• Track record of innovation through patents, publications, or significant product contributions.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $107,100 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
