Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Data Remediation Analyst with expertise in data management and a passion for improving processes in the financial industry. This role is integral to the Chief Data Office (CDO), focusing on data remediation efforts to ensure data quality, compliance, and operational efficiency.

As a key member of the team, you will:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data remediation plan.

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data quality gaps.

  • Monitor and report on data remediation progress to management.

  • Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to maintain data integrity.

  • Recommend process improvements and establish efficient workflows.

  • Prepare and deliver reports to senior management on data remediation initiatives.

  • Communicate with clients and stakeholders to address questions or concerns.

    Requirements

WCore Requirements:

  • Experience: 5–10 years in data analytics, data remediation, or related fields.

  • Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including VBA macros and data transformation.

  • Proficiency in SQL or similar coding languages.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to translate business problems into actionable requirements, process changes, and test cases.

  • Proficient in documenting workflows, functional requirements, and system specifications.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to read, write, and speak professionally in English. Spanish proficiency is a plus.

ePreferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with data remediation or data stewardship.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project or other project management tools.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify, document, and mitigate data defect root causes.
