This large enterprise located in the greater Boston area is seeking a SDET for a contract position with the possibility of extension or conversion to full time. They are worldwide frontrunners in energy management and automation systems who provide a wide array of products designed to boost efficiency and sustainability. This is a hybrid position where you would go onsite 2 to 3 days per week to build and maintain test equipment.

The company is looking for a skilled engineer who has experience in automation testing (Python), IoT testing, and firmware/ hardware testing. Responsibilities would include developing test equipment, user testing as well as test automation, firmware testing, DVT (design validation testing), designing/ building and maintaining test equipment for manufacturing and release processes. You will also collaborate with firmware development teams to verify the testing for IoT devices. Required Skills & Experience

• Automation testing

• Degree in any Applied Engineering or related field with a firmware background

• Hardware/ firmware

• Embedded Linux applications

• Python
