Managing the respiratory care and ECMO operations of the department.
Providing direction and assistance to subordinate staff in both clinical and supervisory areas.
Developing and/or implementing department quality improvement programs and initiatives, policy and procedure manuals and attendant clinical practice guidelines, and all educational programs.
Providing direct and consultative respiratory care and ECMO in various clinical settings.
Making recommendations for the operational and capital budgets.
To qualify, you must have:
AS degree in Respiratory Therapy plus a BS degree in a complementary field, or a BS degree in Respiratory Therapy, MS degree preferred, and five to six years of related experience with a minimum of three years being in a pediatric specialty.
One to two years of supervisory experience required.
Completion of extracorporeal membrane oxygenation training with one to two years.
Current state licensure and registration by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Department of Public Health, Board of Registration in Respiratory Care as a Respiratory Therapist.
Current registration by the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
Current registration by the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Neonatal-Pediatric Specialist.
