This position will be based ON-SITE at our Westborough, Massachusetts site. ​

What you’ll do

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager II with Fast Trak Process Design & Validation Services to join the Project Management Office' U.S. team. In this role, and in collaboration with subject matter experts (SMEs), you will lead multiple and sophisticated client-facing projects from start-to-finish while ensuring that critical KPI are consistently met.

Ideally, you will have extensive project management experience, preferable gained while working for a leading Contract Development Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) and possess expertise in various project management tools and continuous improvement.

  • Be responsible for all aspects of a process development project lifecycle including project chartering, project plan development, establishment of roles and responsibilities, resource and risk management, and problem solving.

  • Define project planning through established tools and standards.

  • Listen, understand, translate and document internal and external client requirements

  • Develop detailed process development proposals with input from SMEs, commercial, and legal teams

  • Establish and maintain project goals and success criteria that meets both Pall and client needs.

  • Evaluate planning and technical risk, act and ensure countermeasures are in place to enable the execution of project deliverables.

  • Follow-up, check, challenge, support, and keep the team accountable for assigned deliverables.

  • Organize, prepare, and lead weekly/bi-weekly project progress meetings with the client and ensure progress is consistently communicated to other internal partners.

  • Ensure that all accounts receivables are maintained at a level not to exceed planned working capital and completed achievements.

  • Maintain a technical understanding of the job performed by members of the technical team outside of your direct expertise

  • Consistently evaluate capacity utilization by reanalyzing team/equipment availability against project demands

Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. PMP certification is a significant plus.

  • Prefer 6+ years of confirmed project management experience in life sciences

  • Problem solving - You don’t give up easily and love to find creative ways to solve exciting problems through strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Extensive experience using Microsoft Projects, capable of training junior members on standard methodology.

  • Managing project tasks through visual project management and daily management.

  • Demonstrated experience running sophisticated projects from start to finish while working closely with technical SMEs to meet key timelines.

  • Demonstrated experience in identifying project risks, problem solving, and implementation of successful countermeasures.

  • Experience evaluating the cost/benefit of shifts in project parameters that affect the timeline, budget, and/or scope to guide the team through the decision-making process.

  • Succinct communicator with excellent written and presentation skills

  • Proven track record in handling customer relationships and expectations to ensure alignment.

  • Demonstrated ability in effective resource utilization through strong people management, setting clear goals, and timelines

  • Determined to quickly resolve conflict within the project team

  • Fundamental knowledge and understanding of drug development and manufacturing – gained preferable from a leading CDMO
