Medical Receptionist (Onsite - Boston, MA)

Job Details:

  • Working in the dermatology department!

  • Weekly pay l $21-23/hr (Depending on experience)

    Core Experience:

  • 1-3 years of medical receptionist or medical administration experience

  • High School diploma or GED (Associate's degree preferred)

  • EMR Knowledge a plus

  • Experience with computer systems required, including web based applications and some Microsoft Office applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access.

  • Must be comfortable submitting to medical screenings post offer

A Day in the Role:

  • Greets and directs patients/families,visitors and staff.

  • Patient check in / check out

  • Answers and screens telephone calls.

  • Takes accurate messages or directs call to appropriate person.

  • Responds to requests in a timely manner and provides clear andaccurate information within scope of knowledge and authority.

  • Types and prepares correspondence and documents according to quality standards.

  • Schedules appointments

Work Environment

  • Onsite - 8:30AM - 5:00PM 40 Hours/week
