EPAM Systems Mechanical Engineer in Boston, Massachusetts
We are seeking a talented and collaborative Mechanical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will conceptualize, design, prototype, and analyze mechanical systems while working closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software engineers, and human factors specialists. You should be comfortable communicating technical concepts to both engineering and non-engineering stakeholders and adapting solutions to meet project needs.

Responsibilities
Design, prototype, analyze, and test mechanical systems
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions
Communicate complex engineering concepts effectively to diverse audiences
Ensure high-quality documentation and adherence to industry standards
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or equivalent from an accredited program
2-4 years of applied mechanical engineering experience
Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes (prototype and production-level), laboratory work, and shop practices
Experience designing and executing proof-of-concept prototypes
Solid theoretical mechanical engineering background
Experience working medical technology/devices preferred
