Key responsibilities include recruitment, reporting, training, diversity, equity & inclusion (DEI), performance management, onboarding, and other related areas. This position involves performing a variety of human resources duties, ranging from basic to semi-complex tasks, while adhering to established laws, rules, policies, and regulations. Essential Functions and Responsibilities * Recruitment & Hiring o Facilitate and manage all phases of the recruitment process. o Assist in job posting and advertisement processes, ensuring timely and accurate communication. o Maintain accurate records of job openings and applications, managing both internal and external postings. o Review applications for entry-level and non-exempt positions, screen applicants, and select qualified candidates. o Schedule interviews and prepare interview materials, such as questions and hiring documents. o Collaborate with the HR team to identify effective recruitment strategies and methods based on the role and organizational needs. o Work closely with hiring managers during the offer process and assist with start dates and other details * Onboarding & Employee Relations o Conduct new employee onboarding, orientations, and exit interviews o Provide HR policy guidance and assist employees with employment-related matters o Administer Treasury Employee Programs, events, and training sessions. * Data & Reporting o Assist in compiling and analyzing HR metrics and workforce reports, identifying trends related to recruitment, turnover, motivation, and compliance o Review job descriptions to ensure accurate classification and salary range. o Maintain HR Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and department-specific organizational charts. * Compliance & Confidentiality o Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and company policies. o Maintain confidentiality of employee data (both electronic and paper), and protect the confidentiality of sensitive information. o Conduct internal audits * Administrative Support o Process personnel transactions, job inquiries, applications, and written documentation (e.g., discipline, resignations) with the highest level of accuracy and confidentiality. o Participate in developing HR department goals, objectives, toolkits, and employee resources. o Schedule and coordinate HR-related activities and training. o Maintain accurate, organized paper and electronic files. Other Duties and Responsibilities * Conduct research, manage databases, and produce written reports as needed. * Support HR team efforts to foster a culture of diversity, respect, and inclusion. * Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and deliverables. * Ensure accuracy and consistency when reviewing data. * Perform a variety of administrative tasks and other duties as assigned. * Maintain professionalism in all interactions and communicate effectively in both oral and written forms. * Demonstrate a commitment to confidentiality and maintain professional boundaries. * Other duties as assigned Knowledge and Skills * Strong understanding of laws, rules, and regulations governing HR practices. * Knowledge of departmental procedures, policies, and guidelines. * Experience with recruitment strategies and HR initiatives. * Familiarity with state and federal employment laws. * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel. * Effective verbal and written communication skills. * Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain professional relationships. * Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities. * Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and ratios). Education and Experience * At least two (2) years of full-time or equivalent part-time professional experience in Human Resources or related work experience. * Associate or bachelor’s degree in business management, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred. * Experience working in a hybrid work environment is a plus. Physical Requirements * Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer * Occasional in-office attendance may require lifting or moving materials up to 20 pounds.
