What we need:

As a key leadership position within the Digital Product & UX team, the Senior Manager of Digital Product Management is responsible for steering digital initiatives toward achieving meaningful business outcomes. This role involves leading a team of product owners and product testers, ensuring that digital products and experiences deliver value and drive key business results. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of product management for BCBSMA’s Digital Assets, including leading a team of individuals to drive the long-term strategic direction of these capabilities, and optimize online member acquisition & engagement. A critical leadership role on the Digital Product team, this person will lead the team that supports enhancements to the customer experience.  This leader will work closely with the business, management, marketing, and EIT teams to drive deliver improvements to digital capabilities and enhance the online member experience. This role is responsible for participating in the planning and tactical implementation of initiatives for the various BCBSMA Digital channels to ensure a seamless customer experience, while maximizing online engagement

Your Day to Day:

  • Lead the Digital Product & UX team in defining and executing the strategic vision for digital products, ensuring alignment with overarching business goals and customer outcomes.

  • Actively contribute to the development of the product roadmap and strategic direction for digital capabilities, focusing on achieving desired business outcomes rather than just delivering features.

  • Translate business objectives and marketing insights into actionable digital strategies that drive measurable outcomes. Collaborate with business management and marketing teams to ensure digital initiatives align with key performance indicators (KPIs) and desired results.

  • Partner with the UX team to integrate customer experience insights into strategic planning, ensuring that digital products are designed to solve real customer problems and deliver value.

  • Oversee the execution of monthly, quarterly, and annual digital projects, ensuring that these initiatives enhance the customer experience, maximize online engagement, and deliver tangible benefits.

  • Use customer feedback and performance data to continually refine and optimize the digital product portfolio, focusing on achieving meaningful outcomes.

  • Recruit, manage, and mentor a high-performing team of product owners and product testers, fostering a culture of innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement.

  • Set clear objectives for the team that are focused on achieving outcomes and provide guidance and support to help them meet these goals.

  • Develop and maintain robust metrics and dashboards to measure the impact of digital initiatives on business outcomes. Provide regular analysis of trends and key performance indicators to managers, executives, and key business stakeholders.

  • Use insights from performance data to drive continuous improvement and adjust strategies to better achieve desired results.

  • Champion a high standard for innovation and efficiency within the team, ensuring that digital solutions not only meet quality standards but also drive significant business value.

  • Encourage experimentation and adoption of best practices that enhance the effectiveness of digital products and services.

  • Foster strong cross-functional relationships with stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment and collaboration on digital initiatives.

  • Communicate the strategic vision and progress of digital products effectively to all relevant parties, ensuring that the focus remains on achieving impactful outcomes.

We're Looking for:

  • Direct experience working in the Healthcare industry

  • 8 years formal product management experience at a large organization

  • 6 years directly managing a team

  • 8 years online and/or e-commerce marketing and effective site merchandizing,  B2C/B2B  ecommerce, leading product management and business analysis for eCommerce websites

  • Experience in formal business requirement creation, business case creation

  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel, Powerpoint and Miro

  • Understanding of web design/development concepts and processes

  • Intermediate experience in common web development standards and tools

  • Experience in of Website Management and Analysis

  • Understanding of Performance Analysis

  • Direct experience working in the Healthcare industry

What You Bring:

  • BA/BS Degree

  • 5-8 years relevant experience

  • Health Insurance/ managed care industry experience preferred

  • Proven ability to define and deliver products that achieve specific, measurable outcomes.

  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile development teams.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive decision-making and measure product success.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Passion for technology, customer experience, and delivering high-impact digital products.

Salary Range: $134,190.00 - $164,010.00

The job posting range is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs and affordability.

This job is also eligible for variable pay.
