ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company Configuration/Change Manager (CCM) in Boston, Massachusetts
Responsible for configuration item management during entire software development lifecycle. Ensures compliance with applicable policies and standards by reviewing design release documents for completeness, proper authorizations and system updates. Performs audits on processes and configuration items and supports process improvements. Responsible for interfacing with internal and external hosting facilities and working with Technical and Management stakeholders to support and apply all corporate and government security configuration management policies, standards, processes, procedures, tools, and work aids. May manage other configuration managers or support staff. Assists with CM issues at program level and supports CM content on proposals.
Assists management team with creation of Project Management, Requirement Management and Configuration Management Plans.
Creates Baseline Configurations based on Configuration Management Plan and inputs from team members. Works with team members and management to document the interim baseline, which includes the list of documents that contain operational system CIs (ie. Hardware and software) and documentation CIs.
Identifies and documents Configuration Items (CIs) with program members to include software, hardware, deliverables, documentation and processes as needed.
Supports Configuration Management System as subject matter expert or administrator. This is usually tools like TFS, Jira and SharePoint.
Defines, generates and supports delivery of release baselines. This includes not only release packages but supporting the development and test environments and data sets that are used for the development, testing and delivery processes. Gathers and reviews metrics on release baselines.
Minimum Qualifications
BA/BS in business, information technology or related discipline
Five (5) or more years of experience in the field or related area; at least three (3) years of experience working in South Korea
Certification: PMI Project Management Professional (PMP)

Responsible for tracking, logging, categorizing, and maintaining all changes made to network baselines.
Works with Government and contractor staff in the development and enhancement of Change and Configuration Management (CCM) tools.
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
Must be well organized.
Experience with creation, application and maintenance of standard file naming conventions and the use of a logical directory structure for storing documentation.
Flexibility working in an environment that is in flux with the capability to handle unstable requirements when necessary.
Desire to work on the ground floor of an evolving configuration management organization, providing configuration management expertise to assist with the organization's maturation.
Customer-service oriented with a teamwork mentality.
Must be conscientious and self-motivated.
Experience with change order processing for the life cycle of a system, documentation, equipment, or software item from the conception phase through development until delivery.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, to include Outlook and Project.
Excellent presentation skills.

Compensation ranges for ASM Research positions vary depending on multiple factors; including but not limited to, location, skill set, level of education, certifications, client requirements, contract-specific affordability, government clearance and investigation level, and years of experience. The compensation displayed for this role is a general guideline based on these factors and is unique to each role.
