Job Summary

Working as the Catering Director for R/A, you have the responsibility for the successful execution of the catering department including events of all types ranging from basic continental breakfasts for 10 to annual events with 1,000+ attendees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Effectively develop and maintain the relationships between RA, clients, guests, staff and the union

• Supervise managed volume of the $16 million including catering services and events

• Develop and oversee operating procedures to ensure a superior product including allergen protocol.

• Supervise a staff of salaried and hourly team of 75 in a union environment.

• Maintain budget, report regularly, and be proactive in adjustments when necessary to meet financial goals.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in the hospitality industry including 2 years in management (preferably Catering Management)

• Outstanding hospitality and relationship building skills
