Those in Alliance at PwC will be responsible for establishing partnerships with companies to better serve our client’s needs. You will build relationships to complement PwC’s strategy through execution capabilities that allow PwC to deliver multi competency programmes and solve client’s most critical business issues. Working in this area, you will develop and execute the strategy and business plan, focus on market penetration and revenue growth, and identify opportunities for solution development and industry alignment. You will also build relationships with key Alliance executives, identify synergies between the technology and the Firm and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

This AWS Alliance Senior Manager role will sit within the Alliance team and support the AWS Alliance in the Data Analytics and AI space. Focusing on the AWS Alliance overall strategy as we go to market, this role will drive PwC specific value propositions, strategic direction, and pipeline progression across the Data Analytics and AI portfolio.

Demonstrates in-depth level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success managing full alliance lifecycle activities to grow strategic Alliance partnerships that deliver long term value and revenue, such as:
Serve as the main point of contact between PwC and the alliance, facilitating effective communication and collaboration to articulate value propositions, align strategies, manage joint opportunities, and achieve successful partnership outcomes;
Prepare for and lead meaningful, outcome-oriented interactions between senior executives and account-level sales executives of both firms across key touchpoints, including quarterly business reviews, joint planning, demand generation, and client pursuits;
Develop and maintain joint business strategies and go-to-market plans in collaboration with alliance senior leaders across sales, GTM, and product teams, driving shared objectives and exploring new areas of growth aligned with PwC’s strategy;
Conduct annual and ongoing strategic planning sessions with alliance and Firm leaders to ensure alignment with evolving market needs and priorities;
Build and maintain comprehensive relationship maps of key executives, priorities, and organizational structures within the alliance to inform actionable account plans and strategic relationship development;
Provide clear and compelling value propositions for the alliance through consistent messaging internally and externally, reinforcing strategic direction and market differentiation;
Work with PwC and alliance marketing teams to develop and execute marketing plans, aligning demand generation activities with joint business objectives, GTM offerings, and sector priorities;
Lead the tactical execution of marketing and demand generation activities, including webinars, conferences, client roundtables, and signature events, while tracking ROI and reporting results to leadership;
Align alliance plans with PwC sector and account strategies through joint account planning and coordination with internal stakeholders;
Facilitate enablement sessions for internal and alliance stakeholders, enhancing knowledge of products, services, and joint solutions to drive effective sales and delivery;
Monitor and report on key performance metrics, including win rates, pipeline progress, revenue generated, and ROI, to support data-driven decision-making and strategic adjustments;
Identify risks and conflicts within the partnership, propose mitigation strategies, and maintain a trusted relationship with alliance partners;
Implement process enhancements across alliance operations to improve efficiency, quality, and alignment with partnership goals;
Lead, mentor, and manage cross-functional teams, fostering an inclusive, collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement;
Maintain in-depth knowledge of alliance partner offerings, licensing, and technology advancements, and effectively communicate the business value of joint solutions;
Monitor the competitive landscape and industry trends to strengthen strategicpositioning and anticipate market developments;
Coordinate resource allocation and project workflows, ensuring operational alignment with budgets, billing, and collections;
Work with Legal and Risk teams to secure and maintain contractual agreements, ensuring compliance and effective risk management while enhancing partnership value over time;
Demonstrate advanced skills in preparing complex written materials and delivering executive-level communications, synthesizing large data sets into actionable insights for strategic planning;
Exhibit proven organizational and project management skills, with a results-driven mindset and attention to detail;
Demonstrate an in-depth level of knowledge utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) as an asset;
Integrate partnerships as a strategic GTM lever while working toward partner revenue goals;
Lead cross-functional teams and drive large-scale initiatives in dynamic environments;
Build and nurture alliance relationships with C-Level executives through exceptional consultative and interpersonal skills, fostering trust and results; and,
Travel up to 30%, including internationally as required.

The salary range for this position is: $89,000 - $315,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
