Office: Facilities Management Team: Electrical Division - Planning, Engineering, Sustainability, and Environment Reports to: Chief/Senior Supervisor of Security Assistant Security Supervisor to assist Chief/Senior Supervisor of Security with daily operation, maintenance and repairs or all BPS security systems and camera systems. Assist with diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing of security, card access and camera systems. Assist with management of BPS Security Card Access Systems, authorization and scheduling of building access schedules and programs, print and program access cards for new and existing BPS employees. Assist in long range planning for upgrades, replacements, and installations of all security and camera systems. Work with designers to implement BPS security systems and protocols with new building and renovations projects. Work with PFD on similar project scopes as BPS Facilities liaison. RESPONSIBILITIES: Assistant Security Supervisor to assist Chief/Senior Supervisor of Security with daily operation, maintenance and repairs or all BPS security, card access systems and camera systems. Assist with diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing of security, card access and camera systems. Assist with management of BPS Security Card Access Systems, authorization and scheduling of building access schedules and programs, print and program access cards for new and existing BPS employees. Assist in long range planning for upgrades, replacements, and installations of all security and camera systems. QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED: High School Diploma Basic Knowledge of Electrical Systems. Basic Knowledge of Security and Surveillance Camera Systems. Basic Knowledge of Fire Alarm Systems Basic Computer Skills required. Valid MA Drivers License and vehicle required. QUALIFICATIONS - PREFERRED: BS Degree in Engineering or Construction related field. 5 years experience in electrical installations, maintenance and repairs.
