As a Senior Hardware Development Manager with Micron Technology, Inc., we are seeking someone who will be responsible for leading all aspects of the design, development, and implementation of HW components and systems for DRAM memory modules! We require a deep understanding of HW design principles, strong leadership skills, as well as the ability to develop a team of engineers to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget!
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and handle the hardware development team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure successful project execution.
Within your group, you are accountable for ensuring a high performing team and improving individual capability through effective performance management systems, ensuring employee development, planning, and appraising performance, coordinating goals and handling employee issues.
Supervise the entire hardware design process, from concept through production, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Collaborate with multi-functional teams, including procurement, manufacturing, test, simulation, and DRAM engineering, to ensure seamless integration of hardware components.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans & schedules, supervising progress and making adjustments as needed.
Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and failure analysis to ensure the reliability and performance of hardware products.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in HW design technology and industry trends, incorporating new techniques and tools as appropriate.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance design processes, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
Communicate effectively with partners, including senior management, customers, and suppliers, to provide updates and address any issues or concerns.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in hardware design, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
Consistent track record of successfully leading hardware design projects from concept to production.
Solid understanding of hardware design tools and methodologies, including CAD software, simulation tools, and PCB design.
Excellent problem-solving skills and being able to think critically and strategically.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Experience with DRAM Memory Module products is a plus.
