The CPN Region is looking for assistance with the following projects with regards to the Safety Training and Tracking database and the CPN Region Injury, Damage & Near Miss reporting site development and the creation and development of the Quincey Basin meter reading database. The maintenance and daily operation of the database along with continued development of new features and enhancement of the existing processes are the primary focus. In addition, initiatives to migrate all access components to C# and .Net based interface and SSRS for paginated reporting are ongoing. Investigation of Power BI platform and opportunities for dashboard reporting are planned. The current system is a MS SQL database with a web front end that is running in Azure on a Windows 2012 R2 server

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
Principal responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Proven C# and .Net programmer using latest versions.
Experience in the latest versions of Visual Studio.
Experience with Source Control Systems (Git preferred).
Experience with Azure DevOps environment and Scrum project management.
Strong understanding of MVVM software architectural pattern.
Understanding of Entity Framework data access and LINQ queries.
The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Have robust communication and comprehension abilities.
Capability and eagerness to learn new languages and code bases quickly.
Working experience in high-availability environments.
Must be able to work independently, with teams, and under direct supervision.
Experience with relational databases.
Experience with SQL Server Management Studio
Understanding of SQL queries and stored procedures.
Education and Experience:
Master’s or bachelor’s degree required – Computer Science degree, Software Engineering, I.T., or similar degree preferred
At least 6 years’ experience supporting a software/hardware development effort
At least 3 years’ specific experience as a Pega SSA.
Required Skills and Competencies:
The successful candidate will have experience in the following:
Exceptional communication skills in English – both written and oral – and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical IT stakeholders
Proven experience developing enterprise-class Pega applications.
Experience in all phases of software development lifecycle including analysis, design, implementation, testing and deployment.
Strong Object-Oriented design and implementation skills.
Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)
Experience with design and development of UI’s using JavaScript, HTML and custom CSS Stylesheets.
Experience in creating SOAP/REST connectors/services.
Experience in Agile Development Methodology, especially PegaSCRUM.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.
Strong understanding of relational database design concepts
Pega CSA certification
Experience in PRPC version 7.1.x
Desired Skills:
Pega CSSA certification
Experience working for a federal government customer
Experience developing on PegaMobile or the AMP platform
Experience integrating with GIS maps and features

CPN regional office located at 1150 N Curtis Rd. Boise, ID 83706.

The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.
The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
