Western Aircraft Recruiting Specialist in Boise, Idaho
Job Summary
The HR Recruiting Specialist is responsible for all aspects of the recruitment process for assigned job requisitions including conducting initial interviews to narrow potential candidates to be interviewed by hiring managers, set appointments through the process, perform reference checks, and facilitate offers of employment. This person will also do proactive outreach activities including but not limited to attending job fairs, coordinate and grow relationships with schools and other organizations and perform various administrative duties in support of all recruiting efforts and other HR related projects.
This is an in-office position, Monday -Friday, day shift schedule
Duties & Responsibilities
Attract applicants through advertisements, contacting recruiters, social media, and job sites
Screen resumes and perform initial interviews to determine applicant qualifications by analyzing responses and comparing qualifications to job requirements
Utilize and document all recruiting efforts and steps within the Applicant Tracking System
Manage the recruitment process including pre-screens, interviews, reference checks, and offers
Make recommendations to company hiring managers for specific roles
Organize interviews with hiring managers, arrange candidate travel logistics, escort applicant to interviews; arrange company tours as appropriate
Serve as a liaison with employment agencies, schools and other outside organizations and participate in career fairs
Qualifications & Job Requirements
Minimum two (2) years in a recruiting role
Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite with excellent data entry and technical writing skills
Exemplary verbal acuity with ability to communicate with all level applicants
Possess an ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a larger group
Ability to handle change effectively and calmly, and consistently meet deadlines
Detail oriented with the ability to take direction and follow laid out plans
Proactive self-starter who is organized and prioritizes well
Other Prerequisites
Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
Ability to obtain Airport Issued security badge
Valid Driver’s license
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Work is primarily performed in an office environment and requires sitting 6-8 hours a day. Occasional lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs. and constantly require clear vision, repetitive movement of wrist, hands and/or fingers, sufficient personal mobility to operate in a general office environment.
