St. Luke's Health System PA/NP: General Thoracic Surgery in Boise, Idaho
Overview
St. Lukes is hiring a dedicated general thoracic surgery PA/NP to join our amazing thoracic surgery team. This individual would join a team that consists of 3 general thoracic surgeons and 3 thoracic PA/NPs. The program cares for the full breadth of thoracic surgical patients, and we perform a wide spectrum of thoracic surgical procedures including robotic lung and esophageal surgery, chest wall surgery, complex tumor resections, and benign foregut surgery. Our team prides ourselves on making this a great work environment, and we genuinely support each other in life and learning. We have an excellent track record of retaining surgeons and APPs, and this job posting is only available due to one provider moving out of state – we are looking for someone who wants to be part of our team for the long haul!
There is a call component to consist of weekdays, to be shared among the group, and 1 weekend out of 3.
Responsibilities include first assist in OR for open, VATS and robotic surgeries, inpatient rounding and management, outpatient evaluation and management.
